Have you checked your computer for spyware? I use Ad-aware for mine. You can get it free from here....

You might also want to defragment your computer.

Also if you have installed a new program that could do it too if you don't have enough ram to run it and the internet, and antivirus program and graphics and sound and maybe a IM thingy running too.. all those little things.. It will freeze.

Do you dump your cookies, temporary internet files...etc. on a regular basis. 'Cuz, if not, all that unnecessarily stored garbage, will really slow down you 'puter, and even make it freeze up.

Seems like the administrater should be able to do it but its simple enough to do on all the accounts though, honestly, with 5 people I would do it once a week and run your Ad-Aware and Spy-bot once a week.

How many little icons do you have in the right hand corner? If there are alot-your startup menu is probably loading all the programs, using up too much space. I did comp tech work for compaq and MSN, be glad to talk you through it-and cleaning temp files, etc. let me know.
