If need be, practice sliding your hand down to hit the orange with your ring finger, but this will end up being much more difficult when you start attempting songs that are actually challenging.

There are instances in the songs with four notes having to be played extremely quickly in sequence (i.e. red, yellow, blue, orange), and if you're used to only playing with three fingers, you'll never beat the song.

Practice with your pinky to build the muscle. It's not like we're all born with the skill to use it as we would our middle or index fingers. We all had to practice, so you should, too.

yeah, and harmonix is putting both out, guitar legends and rockband which both change the game. If I worded to sound like they weren't the same wasn't my intentions, they are both being thrown out together by harmonix, with BS that has nothing to do with the original games.
