How much would you pay for Cockiteil Birds?
Our 4 baby cockiteils are just about 2 months old. They are eatting and drinking on their own. They are ready for their new homes. We did sell two today to a friend of ours. I only sold them $35 for a female, $25 for a male or $50 for two. I'm hoping to get more for the other two. They are parent fed and very healthy. We never clipped their wings, leaving that up to the new owners.
I know at the pet store they sell hand fed birds for at least $100 each but these are not hand fed.
What do you think is a fair price for these next two birds? I was thinking $50 each or $75 for the pair. What do you think?

Re: How much would you pay for Cockiteil Birds?
I have bought them from a breeder for $25 and $35 before and I have gotten them at pet store for $100 but we have a groomer here that breeds her own and sells them for $75. I got 2 from her.

$75.00 for the pair seems like a fair price.

Thanks for your input. I figure they are young so the new owners can train them to their likings. I was looking on craigslist and a lot were $40-$50 each. Just trying to get a ball park idea because I'm hoping to sell the other two this weekend.

Also...is this a "breeding" pair or bro and sis?? (im not even sure if that makes a difference in birds) but that might make a difference in price.

When I was breeding cockatiels I was getting between $50 and $75 for my babies. It depended on if they were plain greys, pearled or pied. Mine were handfed and raised around kids.
