My bum neighbor does. Rolls his own cigs and some other stuff too. I see lots of ppl in my favorite dive bar who roll their own cigs. It's a wonderful hippie dive bar.

Yep, I know a lot of people that do it too because of the price of cigs.

Hubby does. I told him if he wanted to keep smoking then he needed to look into making his own cigs. We buy the cig tubes and we have a cig machine and he makes them with that. Lots cheaper than buying packs of cigs.

hubby rolls his own he uses bugler and buys them by the pack. its cheaper and you get more if you buy them by the packs he usually buys like 12 packs at a time and that gives him more than a can. so look at the packs and compare them to a can. and he only rolls ciggies nothing else. lol

I remember ages ago buying a contraption. Make your own cigarettes. Filters, tobacco, and the pieces of rolled up paper. It was pretty difficult to do. Most of them didn't turn out right. Gee I must be old! lol

When we 1st moved to Phoenix we did this, we bought one of the rollers (about 2.50) then we'd get a big tin of tobacco, and lite tubes (paper w/the filter). They rolled 10 pks (a carton) and cost something like 15.00. I loved doing it and would roll everyone's smokes for the day each morning.

Same here, when you figure cartons can be almost $40, with 21.oo of tobacco and filter tubes, I could make 2 cartons!

We smoke and I have seriously considered doing this. I think I am going to look into it a little more. In just a few months, the cheap brand we currently smoke has gone from $14.00 carton to $26.00.
