Thread: Who's going on vacation this summer?

And where are you going?

This will be our very first family vacation together. I went to branson a few years ago with my family and the kids, but dh stayed home.

We are going to the crater of diamonds in Arkansas in June. Its cheap and close LOL

I would like to go someplace every summer, but its hard to find places that are close and cheap. I don't camp, so thats out LOL

I want to go back to branson again, but skip all the tourist traps this time.

I am going to Fla with my youngest and my oldest is going to AZ to visit with her Aunt and Uncle. We're leaving the first 2 weeks of July and I can't wait!

Hubby is staying home with the pets .. lol.

As of right now, we won't be going anywhere this year. Sucks too because we have been through a lot this past year and could really use the time away. Oh well, maybe next year! lol


We just took our first ever family vacation like two or three years ago and we had a pretty good time. Except for my kids having a virus and the two little ones getting pink eye in both eyes and Harley's asthma acting up. LOL!

Harley keeps asking about the ocean and beaches so I think if we go somewhere next year, we might do that. I was thinking about going to Busch Gardens for like 2 days and then on to Virginia Beach for a few days.

We are taking the 3 new kids to Seaside, Oregon (beach) for a week in mid July and a week in mid August. These kids have never seen the ocean!! It ought to be a blast for them. Wes and I are going to St Maartin in October.

seriously now....
we havent went on vacation for 5 years..yup 5. i think the plan is to take some day trips and spend time with family that is flying in from washington to PA. day trips to like hershey, dorney, or something like that..not sure.
but money is surely a problem..hoping to get a job/traing that i need and then things will look up surely !
i remember seeing the amish when i was little, and ill never forget taht smelly soap they make..i lvoe them !
my inlaws and family live in lancaster. but you dont see the amish less you are l ooking for them really.

I'll be leaving the 28th of April for a cross country trip to NJ. We'll be there for a little over 2 weeks.
