Shampoo saver....
This is so stupid... but it works! LOL
I have 3 girls and they go through shampoo like water. I bought a bottle of generic herbal essence shampoo from the $1 tree a few months back and it took forever for them to use it all up. I asked my DD if they just didn't like it or what the deal was and she said that they liked it fine, but you have to squeeze the bottle really hard to get enough out to wash your hair....
So now I just refill that bottle over and over with our regular shampoo and it lasts a LOT longer LOL

Re: Shampoo saver....
Smart move. At first I thought you were going to say you bought the cheapo brand and poured into the containers they were using.
I did the same thing to my boys only with the Orville Redenbacher jar of kernels. They raved. So when the jar was empty I filled it with cheapo kernels and they never knew the difference.

Re: Shampoo saver....
Great tip for others!
I had a son.....one of those from Mars.....that could
totally take a shower without getting wet, using no soap and no shampoo.
While that did save on the hygiene items,
he immediately had to return to the shower,
the 2nd time to use those items.
Then there was the other son that would take 2 - 3 showers a day.
The difference between children.

Re: Shampoo saver....
I was going through a ton of shampoo/conditioner just between my daughter and myself (I have extremely thick, curly hair down almost to my waist) We started using the BBW stuff and we dont need nearly as much of it. The shampoo lathers great and the conditioner is good too.

Re: Shampoo saver....
Thanks for the tip .. my two go through shampoo/conditioner like there is no tomorrow.
I also am going to have to give BBW stuff a try for myself
I bet it smells good!

Re: Shampoo saver....
Here's An "inside" Scoop For All Those Who Shop At $1 Tree...
My Mother Worked For 15 Years At A Plastic Company, They
Made Bottles For Johnson&johnson, Skintament...just About
Every Shape And Size And Company You Can Think Of.
When The Bottles Are Made, And Shipped To The Company Who
Fills Them With The Product, It Has To Go Through Quality Control, And If The Labeling Is Off Just So, Or The Bottom Of
The Bottle A Wee To Thin, Or God Forbid...the
Hole On Top
Too Small...they Veto That Shipment And Sell It To Dollar
Stores, Just To Break Even. Big Companies Tolerate No Losses.
Hence, Bigger Holes...more Product Used, More Bottles To Be
Made, More Money. Where Did Ya Think That The Recomendation
Came From "wash, Rinse, Repeat"? Lol This Process Actually
Strips The Hair Of Needed Oils...now, We Have To Use The Next
Big Money Idea...conditioners!!! I Buy At The $1 Tree!!!
