If it's what you feel the Lord is telling you to do then you should do it... but be careful w/ those houses. Check into their histories, see what work has been done on them, they are all very old, not that there's anything wrong w/ old, just make sure it won't cost you a small fortune to keep it in good shape!

Oh you lucky girl. I say do it if you can but I do know that jobs probably would pay less. You only live once you know and if it makes you happy I say go for it. In many ways we feel stuck where we are. Good luck kiddo let us know what you decide

Nobody mentioned the SNOW. Are you prepared to handle that? I personally LOVE snow, and grew up in it and AM ALWAYS READY for it !
But for someone like you who grew up without it, well it's something to think about. I know some parts of Indiana get tons of it, but I don't know about the whole of the state.

I'm a Hoosier! Our sales tax is 6%. Things do seem to be cheaper here, especially housing (my home is a 2000 sq ft, 35 yr old, 3 bdrm, 2 full bath tri level, w/semi finished basement on a quarter acre lot, completley remodeled w/in the last 8 yrs and is only worth 98000... smaller homes in "desirable" cities go for 3 times as much!). I live in a rural/suburban area, but lots of the smaller towns outside Indy or other big cities have gorgeous new housing all below 250,000. I was recently in the Indy area and saw signs for rentals (nice condos) 3 bdrm...850, 2 bdrm...695, 1 bdrm....570. So, that's probably reasonable for large city housing, but seems outrageous to me! lol! Plus, we have white Christmas's (usually) and beautiful autumns up here! You'll love it! Not to mention the Pacers and Colts! woot!!

I persally cant wait to see snow again, My hubby has never seen it. Nor have my 4 kids. I had another dream last night and it was me and family in Indiana . So something is pulling me there or telling me to go . And as for jobs, I am a Homemaker,But hubby and I have looked for jobs in that area for him and we found alot of listings for what he does, My husband is also a die hard Bucs fan But fortunately he likes the Colts Too!!hahaha..Thank you all again.

I work in Ft. Wayne, In...Its a nice place to live, but jobs are scarce, especially good paying jobs. I think you should move, but get ready for a culture shock...surfing is replaced with cow tipping, and of course, the best hang out is still the walmart...lol...good luck in whatever you decide to do...
