I just got a little insight as to why so many OLD posters are long gone

I'm not sure what happened in the freebie forum but I think another reason that a lot of the members stopped coming here is because of all the problems with BBS being down all the time. They found new boards to go to and don't bother coming here anymore.

I agree with Patchouli on this. Now with the other boards, there seems to be a rivalry going on and there are a lot of the folks that don't come back because they feel they would be unloyal to their new "family". There are also a lot of people that won't come back because of viruses they believe they picked up off of this board and crashed their computers. They do not want to even take the chance that it will happen again.

If you notice, this board is basically on its own except for a few Mods that still come and keep things running. I say thank you to them because they still care enough to keep us up and running even though they have their other sites to run also. That is what I call loyalty and dedication. You guys know who you are!!

I happen to agree with ya all. But when something similar happens to any of you, then we can discuss it.
I loved this place, and never thought this would happen here.

Sweetie, I have been bashed and "jumped" on so many times on this board that I have lost track. But, I figure I have as much right as the next to state my opinion or to defend it. I am not here for a popularity contest and I could care less if anyone actually "likes" me or not. This is a public forum with a bunch of strangers that I do not know and they do not really know me. So many times we post something and it is taken totally the wrong way because "emotions" are hard to express when typing. As for something that happens in the freebie forum???? I cannot invision anything that would upset me enough to leave the board.

I am sorry that someone has upset you this much and I can understand having your feelings hurt. But, please, try not to take something so personal and remember, some of the folks that come here just love to single out one person and "attack" them over the stupidest of things. I know, they do it to me all the time.

Okay, I just went to the freebie forum to see if I could hunt down this "mystery"....lol. Is this all about the "agrument" with nana over the allure post by tsquared? I would hope not, I read that thread and couldn't figure out what the big deal was. Repost happen all the time....big deal. But, why get upset if yours is picked as the repost.

I am sure everyone appreciates your posts as much as everyone elses. I don't even go to the freebie forum that much because there is usually nothing there but samples.

Well, I am "less active" as I used to be because before all the problems with viruses and such, I got publically bashed here on BBS for supposedly being a moderator on another board that "bashed" all the regulars here...which wasn't true. We were just sick of all the backstabbing and wanted a fun place to chat and post "not so clean/adult content" jokes and such. And no, I was NOT a moderator...I didn't know the first thing about all that back then. The board has since gone defunct and the people who bashed me are gone from here too.
