    Need Advice on relocating (Montana)..

I'm considering a move from Puget Sound Area to the Great Falls, Montana area. Can any-one share their impessions of the living, lifestyle, possibly is it senior friendly,-I know it can't be as expensive as the Seattle area but am sure the wage isn't as good. Any thoughts, opinions would be appreciated.
    Thanks for reading.

Great Falls is a nice mid-sized town with a small town atmosphere. If you enjoy outdoor activites, this is the place to be. However, you will not find as much cultural activities here as you do in Seattle. Great Falls is senior friendly and unfortunately the wages are not the best. There is a lot of growth on the horizon with many well paying jobs seemingly around the corner. Living is relatively inexpensive but the housing market is a little high due to the Air Force base. Lots of casinos, bars, and car lots. I would recommend a visit to better get a feel for the town itself.

    Thank you for responding wvinmt,

I see you are in Great Falls. I would like ask more specific questions and get more of your thoughts about Great Falls but tonight I to run my mom back home so won't get back in time tonight. May I contact you tomorrow with more questions?

My reason, interest in Great Falls stems from the deep need to return my mother to her roots that she was ripped away from as a child. I spent many years trying to find some of the relatives that are left to her and want to get her back there while there is still time. She is 72 now but still active and vital but I can see the time passing so really want to try to do this especially now that there is just the two of us now. Her relatives that I was able to find are pretty eldery also so I need to stop dreaming and try to do this. It is pretty frightening and daunting to consider but her people were pioneer stock so I should at least try to live up to that, chuckle.
