Thread: Just a friendly reminder :)

I realize that the rules of conduct have not worked for quite a while, but since I have been getting a few e-mails complaining about users who are putting certain things in their signature lines, I wanted to remind long time users, and inform newer users of the following rules....

The 3 things that I have gotten e-mails about are:

1. Ebay auctions - you can't advertise your e-bay auctions (or any auctions) here, not even in your sig line.

2. referrals - there is a forum for referrals here: http://forums.bigbigsavings.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11 please do not put them in your signature line.

3. Other forums - advertising of other forums is not allowed.


That being said, I will delete signature lines if they contain any of the above. Since I do not go through each and every thread/post and check signature lines, I will delete them as I see them or as they are reported, so if I delete one and leave others, its not because I am playing favorites, its because I just haven't seen it.

I am going to leave this "sticky" for just a few days to give most everyone a chance to read it, then I will unstick it

Feel free to remove your sig line yourself... it would sure be helpful!
