Ok I am tired of this!!!! She assaults a boy THREE TIMES and she serves nothing???????? Where is justice in this? HOW Dare they!! WHY cuz he is pretty??? So what do you think?

Guilty and double standards - using bipolar to excuse????

OR Not-guilty and bipolar caused it??

I say guilty NO MATTER WHAT>>>> Bipolar not cause of her offense!!!!!!!!

Yes, I think she is guilty and feel she should receive some kind of punishment. If not, what's this saying???? It's alright to do this? If so, then they need to overturn Mary Kay Laterno's conviction. (jmo) bash away if you want to.

Pretty, depressed, young....it's not fair to anyone.

I agree. Sometimes people are too quick to place the blame on something else rather than saying yeah I did it. I think she is only using this because she got caught. Lets say it was the bipolar, if her bipolar was that bad, why was she teaching??? If she knows enough now that it was wrong and she had problems why teach? It is almost like saying oops sorry I tripped on a rock because I am clumsy, oops sorry I had sex with your son because I am bipolar...OOPS!

I agree she should have gotten more punishment, but from what I've read...she didn't get away with "nothing". It said she had to register as a sex offender, could never teach again, and would be on house arrest for three years. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I saw in an article yesterday on MSNBC.

I did say I agreed it wasn't enough, but some of the posters seemed to think she got away without any punishment. No arguement from me here.

My best friend who lives in Tampa, actually knows her. Hes told me that hes seen her out @ gatherings and she's just like la-dee-da.
Shes a nut case for sure, but that doesn't excuse her of her actions.
My friend also says that shes now more "attractive" to all the guys becasue of what has happened, which is sick to me. He even says that shes hot.
