Congratulations on your new home. It is our dream to own a home to raise our family in, but our credit is so shot, I don't think it will ever happen. I hate handing over rent money and having nothing to show for it in the long run. I wish I'd known how precious my credit was when I was young and foolish. Now I'm just old and credit-less. I'm so happy for you though! Have a blast!

Congrats on your new house! Those colors are awesome! It's a lot of work but will be worth it!
