Help me find my son - may be in WORTH IL
Hi, I'm Monika (his Mom), his little sister, his little brother, my husband and my Mom all miss him so badly. We haven't seen him since 1998 because he lives with his dad who keeps moving on us and we can't find him. Yes - I have joint custody and I am supposed to know where he is, but everytime I track him down, he up and moves away. My son is 16 now and his name is Keith, rumored to be in Bridgeview IL, his dad rumored to be driving a tow truck also making and selling bootleg dvd's. My attorney is of no use. He says I need to locate him again so he can issue him court papers. I've also heard that my son is failing dramatically in school. And yes, I have called all the schools in that area. Either they are lying to me or he's really not attending there. We so desperately need to find him. I've tried directory assistance, no listings, probably has a cell or has a phone under another name. His dad was married but like I knew, he got divorced, again. if there is ANY way you can help me out, please PM me or send an email to [email protected]
My son's name is Keith Rohm II and his birthday is August 12th, he was named after his father. He has previously lived in Evergreen Park, Palos and Worth IL. His dad's birthday is February 19. He was previously married to Nanci Rae, they divorced in 2001.

Do you know your ex's SS#? He has to use it doing lots of things. Can't the authorities track him down using his number?
I watched the Dr. Phil show today and it was on this very topic.
Go to www.drphil.com and see what they are doing to track down two children for a woman. Her ex kidnapped them and hid them. He was caught and is in jail but won't say where he left the children.

Fred, have your friend contact a Father's group in his area. They are good in giving advice since lots of them have been there, done that kind of thing and good support.
My hubby used them after his divorce and they helped them. Just a warning, it may be a cripe group and not a knowledgable about law group so he needs the ones who have knowledge about the laws surrounding divorce and his situatioin. Lawyers are good but very expensive. They are needed but others can help.

yes, I know his SS# but he's been known to "work under the table", he's been crooked for years.

The more this weighs on my mind the more I want to tell you to contact the police in that area. You have LEGAL RIGHTS to your son. Its their duty to uphold the law. Call the station in your ex's last known town, explain your situation, see what they say. IMO it should be considered kidnapping. If the police are not or are not willing to help you, I say call your ex's local TV station, with all these Amber Alerts, missing and murdered children, someone will eventually listen. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling. HUGS!!!
Added: If nothing else maybe the police can investigate his boot legging and bring charges against him?!
The more you complain, the longer God makes you live.

have you tried the county courthouse where he lives? The have public records on him if he was in any civil court ( like divorce), maybe the county even has a website you can search. I would also contact the courts and police and get them involved. I can't imagine not being able to see my son for that long..heck I miss him when he goes to his dad's for the weekend..am so sorry you are going thru all this..keep hunting and never give up. Also he is at that age that he can decide if he wants to live with you...I hope he hasn't been brainwashed and told bad things about you by his father
