Lol, that is too funny, your lucky its beanie babies, my adorable little kitties have a bad habit of leaving me dead birds, mice, and bats IN MY BED! And of course they have to take a little something for themselves, they eat the heads. Needless to say I don't kiss my kitties anymore. That is so funny though!

Do you suppose she thinks the beanie babies are your dd's kittens, and she is helping her take care of them?
I had a seal point siamese cat growing up. He would pee in your bed if you didn't make it! My mom loved it because we always made our beds.. LOL

I think the cat is just giving your dd his "kills" or "tokens of affection" like annie169 said. I have 2 Siberian Huskies (that think they are cats) that leave mice or birds or whatever they hunt on my back porch for me. Arent they sweet??? LOL The older one will drag around my DS's stuffed animals and drop them at your feet.

I'm assuming Checkers is an indoor cat and with that, I'm guessing that he/she brings those to her as "love tokens" for your daughter because the cat knows those "please" your daughter. AKA...."tokens of Checker's affection". Outside cats are known to leave mice, birds, whatever they can catch in their owner's homes, on the doorstep, wherever the owner will find them. annie is right. My cat use to to bring things and put them at my bedroom door in the morning; things like my earrings that I left on the coffee table or items of mine that I may have left out within her reach. I wondered why she brought me these little presents every morning too and then I heard on an animal show once that this was her way of showing affection. I was the one that took care of her and fed her etc., and this was her way of showing me that she appreciated it or loved me for taking care of her. Yeah, I thought it was weird at first too and thought I had a special cat, until I found out a lot of cats do this to show affection to their owner. 
If guns kill people, I can blame misspelled words on my pencil.
