switching b/n soy and milk based formula
Ok, I know that breast feeding is best and I did do that for 6+ mo but now my son is on formula.
That said I was wondering about formula's. He is on milk based and doing fine but some one gave me some soy formula and wondered if it was ok to give it to him or should I stick with one kind?
Thanks for your openion.

Re: switching b/n soy and milk based formula
Hey! I haven't been around here much lately, so it's really weird that I just happened upon one of your posts! Anyway, to answer your question, I wouldn't think it would be a problem unless your little one is allergic to soy, which I guess you won't know unless you try it. You may want to ask his pediatrician though just to get a professional opinion.

Re: switching b/n soy and milk based formula
When my kids were babies the doctor told me to stick with one formula. I always used the same one so I don't know what would happen if you used a different one, but it could upset the baby's stomache.

Re: switching b/n soy and milk based formula
I do that with my daughter! I think it would be just like us drinking soy milk. Shouldnt give them any problems!
