Meaningless ? of the day - let's talk colors!

Are you a primary color person or a pastel person? I like bright primary colors - and just recently I have been stuck on sky blue or navy and green combos. Went to the dollar store and bought a forest green shower curtain - my toilet seat cover and rugs are blue. My mom took one look and just shook her head, but I like it! How about you?

I wear a lot of black clothing but my bedroom is decorated with earthy colors. The curtains are a sage green and the comforter is a paisley pattern that is the same color green with a little bit of pink and gold.

I collect Coca~cola and was just telling ds that I might have just a little to much coke stuff. The bathroom has a coke shower curtain, rug, towels and waste basket. I also have the sheets, pillowcases and comforter. It's just everywhere you look.

For clothes though, I like pastels, especially shirts.

Can't have too much red! LOL. I love red and all my life I'd been told I couldn't wear it because I'm a redhead with fair skin. Now I don't care and wear it all the time. I have red sheets, blankets and a quilt too. My van is red. Now if I could just convince the DH to let me paint my craft room red.

Okay, other than red for decorating I like an "elegant look." Which means more muted colors and classic lines. For instance I have a huge print of one of Monet's Water Lilies paintings in the livingroom. My walls are off white and I have several watercolor painting to add color. I also prefer unpainted wood--I love the natual wood color and prefer to see the grain.

I do wear a lot of green and yellow--even that ugly mustard yellow that looks hideous on everyone else. LOL. I find mostly that I look better in brighter colors--muted shades and pastels make me look washed out. I just wear what I like, who cares what anyone else thinks?
