Thread: what did you do today??

welllllllllll.......... since my keys were sticking on my keyboard, I cleaned them. I took them off and cleaned them. I just hope they are all back where they were when I started. They are no longer sticking.

Well, I went to work today. It was quite an eventful day. Our Loss Prevention people came in and fired several people. My nerves are quite torn up. I had to stay over 2 hours but thats ok.

I had two of those full saver cards from Subway, so I decided to take ds and share a sub. Since I only had to pay for the drink I decided to throw in some cookies. When it came time to pay, the guy said it was $1.29 and I asked him if he got the cookies, which he didn't , so he rung them up.

When we went and sat down , ds was like, why did you say that, you could of walked away with free cookies. Some people aren't satisfied with a free sub, they need free cookies too.

Two bucks for lunch ain't nothin'.

Wow Cupid, that's pretty good. All I know how to do is use one of those cans of air on mine.

i want one of those flat keyboards..so they will be easier to keep clean, i need a silent keyboard hubbyhates the clicking sound of mine............lol

Got me to clean my keyhboard, but I just held it under the spray hose on the sink and whiped it off, then put it upside down on a towel to dry. Doesn't really matter if it wrecked it, because I have two new ones that I got free somewhere.

Don't really match my pc though. The one I'm using now seems really wierd after using my other one for a year. That one was black, this one light grey, almost white.

You can actually run them through the dishwasher if you want.

Let me see, I started my morning by taking my granddaughter to school, came home and made breakfast for my dh and grandson. Cleaned the kitchen back up, did some laundry,made lunch, then I took my grandson and another little girl to school. Went to the post office to mail my Christmas cards, then came home and cleaned some more. Then I went out and shopped for a couple of gifts and a few items I needed, then went and picked up my granddaughter and another little girl from school. Dropped off the other little girl and came home and packed a suitcase for my granddaughter and grandson, while I waited for him to come home from school. Got the kids sent off to their other grandmother's house for the weekend. Then I made supper and cleaned some more. Then I went to Walgreens to pick up a few things and went to pick my daughter up from work. Came home and started making my salt dough ornaments that I plan to give as gifts. Now I'm just waiting for them to finish drying so I can take them out of the oven. It's getting late so I think I will paint and decorate them tomorrow, if I get time. Tomorrow I have to get up early and go to the store to buy my fixins for our family Christmas dinner, and since I have that to make, I probably won't get much else done until I get home from the dinner. But when I do get home, I'm going to wrap gifts and try to get those ornaments done. It's actually been a pretty mellow day, well evening, since the kids are now gone. I had some free time to myself.

They say if you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. I can not believe what some of you people get done in a day. I remember when I was young, about 30, and I was complaining to the doctor about being tired all the time and he said, start with when you got up yesterday morning and tell me everything you did, don't leave out anything, I thought he was kinda nuts but I did what he said , then he said now, do you understand why you are tired? Well now I drag my lazy butt downstairs and drag around all day. Goodness people enjoy it while you can do it. And even the grandmothers on here can do all these things!
