Happy Columbus Day
Happy Columbus Day...I suppose it is not PC anymore to celebrate Columbus Day, even though my son has off from school....I remember it was a day for parades in some cities, celebrating the "founding" of America by explorers. Now we know Columbus never hit mainland USA, and that he was mean to the natives.
Anyhow, still, it used to be a day for Italian Americans to be proud. Now...????
Have a good day if you are off!
Note...this is not a vent or whine, just an observation....
