My Mailman
I order my medication through the mail. I save about 100.00 a year doing it this way and it is for 3 months at a time.
Anyway, my mail usually runs in the morning. Well Sat. I collect the mail that morning then go about my business. My husband is outside and it is around 3:00 pm the mailman comes back here. He gave my husband a plastic envelope with my medication in it. He said they got a large batch of those kind of envelopes in at the post office after he made his run and he wanted to get them out to the customers because it would be Wednesday before they would be delivered otherwise.
That surprised me that he did that because he didn't have to. So he basically was running his route again to the people that had there medicine come in.
I thought that was very nice of him. I guess this year he will get a something for Christmas.

Re: My Mailman
What a great mailman! Our mail lady, Julie is great. A couple times a week we have a mail man, though, and I don't particularly care for him. Julie leaves all of my packages right on my porch. This mail guy honks his horn repeatedly until I come out of the house to get my packages, which, since they've been in the car with him, smell strongly of smoke...

You are sooooo lucky! You get morning mail - AND your mailman is nice!
Mine always leaves the "Missed You" slip for certified mail - even though I am always home...

Re: My Mailman
We have lived here in this house about 1-1/2 years. I have only talked to him maybe 2-3 times. He seems nice, if we get packages he will bring them up to the house and leaves them in the breezeway for me.
There is a female that fills in for him and she seems really nice as well. She also brings my packages up to the house and leaves them in the breezeway or if she can't get the door open she will leave them by the door. If it is raining she puts them in plastic bags.
Where I used to live for 20 years my mail lady there was nice as well.
I have never had a bad mail carrier so far. Hope I never get one either.
I get my samples and freebies as well.
