I saw that once a few months ago. He put her through heck. I'm watching Airline on A&E. One of the customers is very upset because she was told she would need to pay for two seats because of her size.

I saw that movie when it was first on TV. Excellent. If I remember correctly, some states changed the laws protecting women that went thru this. They still have to go to court since someone died because of them, but now the courts listen. Most times they get community service or a much shorter jail time.

That would just embarrass (sp) me to death. Thats so not fair. So much for treating everyone equal.

My ex husband made the husband in that movie look like a saint

I am glad that some good things came out of it... I volunteer for a battered womens shelter here and counsel women who have left these type of relationships. As sad as it is that they are in the situation, I am so glad to be apart of them moving on to a better life
