Another Update On DH

A hospital rep called me out into the hallway today while his family and I were there with DH.
I was informed that since he has no life expectancy and there is nothing else that can be done for him I must bring him home or arrange nursing home care for him.
I will be bringing him home tomorrow or I should say the ambulance will be transporting him as he is completely bedfast.
Hospice will be coming in.
He will have a morphine pump for the pain.
BBS Prayer Team I need you more than ever now as I will be keeping a constant bedside vigil.
Thanks to everyone for being here with me in spirit.
If it weren't for all of you sending me strength I would have broken down long ago.

I'm not sure what to say but i am so sorry your family is
going through this.I know when my grandfather had Hospice,
they were real good to him and my grandmother.

(((Safire))) Hospice should keep him comfortable in his last days. Just remember they work for you. Please feel free to tell them how you feel about things and how you want it to be. They need to be there for you and your familly not you there for them. This time is for you, your faimily, and especially for your hubby. Will be praying for all of you. Huggs.

Edwina, as others have posted, there are no words to be found that can help or comfort at this time and I am sorry. I am glad that hospice will be there for you and you won't have to do it alone. I hope with Dan being home it will make things easier on all of you. God Bless you and yours and please hug the kids forus, as Iam sure this is incrediably hard on them.
