OMG Please pray for this young man!!!

I am so worried right now. My husband just called and one of the guys he knows "Jimmy Trucker" , is what they call him, just flipped his truck. He was speeding down around a sharp bend and it went over. Hubby doesn't know to much else as he is quite a ways back in the line of traffic, and is only hearing what they are saying on the CB. Which is not alot. Please pray Jimmy is ok, he is young only 20. I feel awful , him and his dad were just here 2 weeks ago. He is so young and just like my husband when he first started driving. (Full of ambition and loves the job.) Just pray he is not hurt badly. Thanks guys!

did this happen this morning in NY? There was a truck that flipped about 10 miles from where I live. It happened on NY17 the truck was hauling garbage from Bronx Ny to upstate.

No I was in Boyers PA it is a tri axle truck BIG Dump!!! Hubby called they are taking Jimmy to hospital to see he is ok. Other than that I have no idea what is going on!!

Thats why here the age is 21 for a CDL license and he shouldnt have been speeding that kid is bigger then most out on the rd. I am sorry it happened but damn it gives other truck drivers bad names. You need to be just as careful with them if not more they dont handle like a car and dont stop on a dime. My hubby was driving and a car crossed his side of the rd and he had to pull it over to the sholder a little ways and the shoulder gave way and he went downa 40 ft enbankment loaded. Thank god he was belted and thank god for that tree or i would be a widow.

I have seen many trucks going down the road very fast, and not all of them are young, many times it is the older ones that are used to the trucks that scare me as they take even more chances, my brother drives truck and so it is not that I am prejudiced against truckers, I feel for them, being away from their families and being on the road all the time, but I think that age is a small issue, I just pray this boy will be ok and that all goes well.

Prayers. Age is not an issue. It is the drivng and the saftey regulations that are in violation. some companies will not make the nessacary repairs only quick fixes to save money. I know this because my husband has and does drives trucks. Every driver starts out young or new. They learn the hard way sometimes. We can only pray that they make it safely back and forth from were they are driving. And pray if they do make a mistake that nobody else gets hurt or killed. Prayers for the young man hope is ok and not hurt seriously.

We are still not hearing anything, but hubby drove me out by where the truck is. It is a mess. The whole cab is smashed in expecially the drivers side roof and door. I hope he is ok I will update you when I know anything. The truck wasnt a tri axle dump it was an 18 wheeler dump. Sorry. And he is 21 not 20 sorry about that too. Hubby said he is a fast driver all the time, he said maybe he will learn to slow down now.
