Quick lil question, anyone care to take a stab at it?
I know this isn't the right place to post this, but figured i might get that fastest answer here. i am about to buy a comforter set online. Pretty sure my bed is a full, but i was thinking a queen size my be/look better. however, i don't want it hanging on the floor either. Can anyone tell me if a queen size comforter would actually be TOO BIG for a full size bed. I don't mind a lil extra length, but i don't wanna step on it when i walk near the bed either. Any input will be appreciated.

I think a queen would be fine. Sometimes "full/queen" is actually one size.

I have queen size bed and it should be fine. I have full size bed up stairs and it fits without dragging it is not that much difference.

I always size up on my comforter because it's a pillowtop. My mother has a full size and uses a queen with no problem and it's not a pillowtop. The same is NOT true for bedspreads. A bedspread is meant to touch the floor, so a full size would aready be touching the floor almost.

If you knew it was the wrong place to post, then why did you do it anyway???

Why would this be the wrong place to ask. Its off topic... Also when we were looking at beds the salesman said the difference between reg size and queen size is 3 inches each side.

I always buy a size up..I don't like it to hang on the floor but I like it to cover the whole edge of the matress all the way around.

I got a King for a Queen bed - perfect!
I think they are made to just cover the top plus a little extra, so you shouldn't have to worry about it going too low!

It was originally posted in the freebie forum.
You said you were ordering a set. Do you mean that it comes with sheets also? The comforter will fit fine but the sheets will be too big.

I have a queen size, but my matress and box springs are thick so I have to buy a king size spread/comforter. Even with a king size, the spread doesn't reach the floor. I don't think a queen would be a problem with a full size bed.
