Today's Doctor's Appointment!

HI all! Good news to share!!

I had an OB appointment today and the doctor said that I am a whopping 1 cm dialated and 70% effaced!! She even stripped my membranes for me to try and speed things up a bit! I'm soooo freaking excited I don't know what to do with myself!

Congratulations! I hope everything goes well for you. When I was preganant w/ DD #1 I stayed at 4cm dialated for a week! And I had my membranes stripped as well. Then with DD#2 I was 3cm dialated for about a week as well and it wasn't until my midwife stripped the membranes a second time(I guess she didn't do it good enough the first time) that I went into labor that night.

Walk, walk, walk! How EXCITING!!! I'll bet you just can't wait to hold your little one and snuggle her! She's going to be here SO soon!!! Please keep us posted if anything changes. We'll all be here in the BBS waiting room, pacing the floors until we hear your good news! Take care and treasure these last few days of your pregnancy. I was so uncomfortable toward the end that I just wanted her OUT! I'd have done a naked jig down Main Street if someone had told me it would get Cadi to come OUT! Now, I miss the feeling of her moving around and kicking inside me. You must be SO excited right now!

Just like I tell everyone else wanting their baby to get here, go get your man and get busy. Both of my labors started after a night of romance. Having an O makes your uterus contract.
And walking will help too, but that's not nearly as fun!
