That's a good idea... over a year ago, I had a paypal acct. that was hacked into... I had just went verified, cause I was going to buy some printer ink online and wanted to be able to send payment. However about 3 days after I got verified, I got an email from paypal stating that I had sent payment to some email address. The payment was for 450$. So I denied it and put a stop payment on it, but not quick enough, it went thru my checking acct at my bank. I only had about 200$ in the acct to start with, and stuff that was still out. So not only was I in the red, but I also had stuff bouncing with fees. It was terrible. My bank was very good, and refunded my money and took off the fees. So it could have been much worse. Paypal was supposedly investigating it. I never heard anything else. They also said that their site wasnt hacked into, just my acct. that someone must have figured out my passcode... which I thought was bull. No one in a million years could just guess my passcode. But just thought I would mention this... it can happen to you. I found out the hard way.

best suggestion to those not wanting to give bank info....get a webcertificate or other prepaid card....register that and your sending limit will be $2000 per month i think. it also allows you to finally request a check (can not do unless verified). i did this with my second acct (one business premier and one personal...that is okay to do). also solves pcs problem

As far as not being verified, I messed up a few months ago on alot of ebay listings, giving the incorrect paypal address. I went and opened an account in the name I had given. I can't verify it because my checking account and credit card are on my original account. I have alot of money in this paypal account that I cannot get until verified. You can't request a check or anything until you give them some kind of personal info.

I don't think I can even send payments if I buy something on the internet/ebay......My $$$ has been sitting for MONTHS.

Just a heads up - I have 3 different email accounts hooked into my PayPal. I think they allow 5 or 6. I only have one credit card and bank account with PayPal and there has never been any problem with it.

Well if it sets there long enough they will send you a check, after I took my bank info off thier site, they wouldn't give me my money til I reverified and to do that they wanted my driver's license, social security card, bank statment and a utility bill (yeah right ppl, keep dreaming)... But after about a year, they just sent me a check one day.
