What do you think?
I was babysitting for my sister. The money wasn't good. But I was glad to spend time with neices and nephew. I have been scouting out a good job for awhile now. Well, I had a job offer for good money doing what I love. Now my sister is mad at me.
I gave her 2 weeks notice. I need to take care of my family first.
Am I wrong for doing this??

You are not wrong. Your sister has to take care of her family. And you must do what is good for yours.She will get over it. good luck in the new job. Best of luck

No you do what is right for you and your family~ I have been where you are but backed down on the "real job". I kick myself looking back on it. Your sis will get over it, if she doesn't well that just tells you how concerned with you she is..HTH !!! Good luck to you and what ever you decide!!
Sometimes it is hard to let go of a memory, especially if you remind yourself of it everyday.

I think you did VERY well. Two weeks notice is great. I was given notice at 5:00 pm on a Friday once that I had to have new babysitting arrangements on that coming Monday, so I think two weeks notice would be HEAVEN.
You have to do what is best for YOU not for your sister.

Your sister has no right to be mad. You have every right to take a new job for your family. Or even, just because you want to. She can't expect you to give up your life to watch her kids.
