Thread: Anyone want to....

go to Dollywood Saturday and ride the new Thunderhead wooden coaster with me? I haven't exactly made up my mind yet on whether I am brave enough to ride it or not. (I'm usually a weenie when it comes to any rides going over 20mph...and this thing goes up to 55mph with a 100 ft. drop.) I thought I'd post and ask if anyone in the general area wanted to go and hold my hand on the ride.

I would go with you, I love roller coasters.

We went to six flags in Rochester last summer with my dad and stepmom, we rode every roller coaster. If superman didnt have such long lines we would have gone on that again...and again lol Course it scared me just about to death LOL but it was fun!!

You know they would get a really cool ride after I moved away! It looks really fun!

i want to go to dollywood soooo bad... i can get free tickets from work too, just have to talk my bf into going! I would like to go to carowinds too..... gherky good luck on that coaster.... it may be new, but it's still wooden! LOL... I dont like the wooden ones too much at all! skeery!! have fun!!

Thanks. I'm hoping that it will rain so that maybe it won't be too crowded. (I hate standing in long lines.) I hate coasters (or any ride for that matter) that turn you upside down so I'm thinking that I will be okay with this one. Since it's a new ride it'll probably be my luck that something will mess up on it if I decide to ride it. I'll let y'all know if I survived it or not.

Well, it did rain a little today but it didn't have any effect on the crowds. Ugh I felt like a sardine with all the people packed around me. Didn't get to ride the new wooden coaster and it was probably a good thing too...stood in line for 45 mins and just before we got up to it the darn thing broke down. Guess they don't have all of the kinks worked out of it yet.
