love TV stations, lmao, really ya'll are great when we need to get info out, like when we have a bad wreck or a fire and are shutting down roads we can call and ya'll will get the info right out.
evitra, i know what you mean about emergency mode, when it all "hits the fan" it amazes me what i can do and how many things i can do at a time and half the time not even realize i did it, lmao

There was a tennis court that exploded in this litle town i keep tabs on the security officers and man oh man there was fox news nbc abc newspapers calling every 5 minutes and it was no comment till they could hold a press conference.Wow that was a bad day. I love the ones where there is an accident or a fatal and people on the street will walk up to me after work shopping ect asking what happened did you trnasport i am a cousin of his cousin and i said one day how would you feel if i was giving out random info about you if you or a loved one was in that situation?

shoot, they put it on the TV and all the news breaks until time for the news when my house got broke into and they stole my gun, my badge and my uniform shirt. acted like it was the biggest news story of the year, lmao. i even have a tape of it, lol. made the reporter make me a copy. hahaha.

I used to be....
but when i had kids, and they were asking me "mom are you coming home tonight" I Went to straight dispatching, besides my big mouth tended to get me called into the chiefs office more than i cared to be there, lol. Went to Basic EMT school too, lmao.
but even as a dispatcher we had to wear the full uniform, including the belt and badge

OHHH that would kill me LOL They have the pants and shirts with all the pins and badges they keep trying to talk the boss into making us wear them. I have a polo shirt name and logo on it I have to wear

where i work now we have short sleeve denim button ups that we wear, and i get to wear my capri pants all the time, WOOOOHOOO, lol
