Do you ever get random phone calls?

Today Jaime got a call on his cell phone from a number 454-xxxx. Message was "This is Robert from Game Stop regarding an application. Please call us back at 596-xxxx." Well, he doesn't think he's put in an application

yeah, I know... He picked one up, but gave them no phone number. He said he's 99% sure he didn't turn it in (Sounds kinda irrisponsible to not know for sure if you submitted a job application, but anyway...) We look up 596-xxxx and it's a residentail number. He called it and a guy named Raymond had no clue what he was talking about. He called 454-xxxx and got voice mail for someone named Richard?? Yeah, the whole thing sounds really random, I think it's one of his friends but none of them have his cell phone number, but if he turned in an application for real they probably would have called his house first which they didn't because it wasn't on the caller ID. I looked up the 454-xxxx number and it's in La Mesa, which is two cities over not to mention a cellular phone number.

But yeah, who else has gotten random phone calls like this? The whole thing is pretty funny.

DH got a few from a "credit card company" in the past. The last time the "salesperson" got really rude, called DH names and hung up. We had Caller ID then, and DH called him back, but it was a residential number in Canada. So DH told the guy what happened, and it turned out it had been happening to that guy too! Go figure.

I got a call the other night from a man. (and I am happily married BTW.) And he says a bunch of small talk then he says "Do you know those red thongs?" By now I have motioned my DH to come over and he is trying not to laugh, but he is as curious as I am, So I said "Yeah", and he says "Oh did you know I was going to call?" and by this time I am giggling so I hung up. Well he called back!!! I had DH answer and the man asked for an Amy, lmao Dh said nope no one here by that name and I havent heard from my 3 am caller again LMAO!!

Last week a water proofing company called...the lady was talking blah~blah~blah and then said,you are entered to win basement water proofing from us...I laughed and said "that's great why didn't you enter me BEFORE you guys came out and did my basement" (Same company that did it) she laughed and said "well crap nobody here tells me anything" I started to laugh and said "apparently" and said our goodbyes.lol

A few years back my little sister's friend decided to prank call her, but I answered the phone instead. The guy on the other line (older bro of her friends) liked my voice and we ended up talking and even dating for a little while

That was one strange call

I got an xxx phone call at about 3am...dumb guy was all huffing and puffing in my ear and crap. I said, "Look I am really tired could you call back after 8?" The freak got nervous and hung up....never called me back either!
