serious question about porn saving itself to files

is it possible for porn websites to save themselves to the favorites file on your computer?

Only if its downloaded and places into that section of your computer. Thats the only way i could see it happening.

spyware and viruses can cause it. Do a spyware scan. If you need one go to:

I know for a fact it CAN.........There are times that you get pop up's and when you click them off, they can be saved into your favorites file.....It has happened to me a couple times.....

yes it can. My computer was LOP'd(one of those nasty bugs) and I had to go to their website to get the removal tool.

oh yes deffinatly, those pop ups can also cause it to become your home page or make it the only page you can visit, like to matter what you type it goes there. when we had msn for our isp we had so many problems with that. we had pop ups that would come up and take the entire screen and had no close option, you had to just keep pressing escape. and after i did spy ware and ad ware scans tons of stuff came up.
