For both recipes you will need to buy 2 crusty french loaf tubes (they are by the biscuits in the refridgerated section)

    Taco roll:
taco meat (just brown a pound or so of ground meat, can be turkey or beef, and add a packet of taco seasoning of your choice)
shredded cheese (chedder or whatever you like)
    chopped onion (this is optional)
    taco sauce
2 cloves of garlic (chopped finely)

Take the french loaf and cut it down the middle about 2/3 the way down. Roll out the middle to make a flat surface, not like a pancake though, to add the ingredients. First put a small layer of taco sauce down, then add onion and garlic. Next add the meat and top it off with the cheese. Take the filled loaf and pinch the side together so you cannot tell it is stuffed (it is not too bad to do). You will then lay the two loaves beside each other and cross the middles like an X, then take the do the same on each end. You will need to cut small slits in the top to help with the venting while cooking. Before you put in the oven to back, sprinkle some shredded cheese on top. This will bake at 375 for about 35 minutes. Just make sure the middle is done!!

After you pull it out of the oven, let is cool for about 5 minutes then cut slices of this. You can add lettuce, tomatoes, more cheese, and sour cream to the top of this.

    Pizza roll:
Pepperoni (meat of your choice for pizza)
    Pizza sauce
    garlic powder
Mozzerella and parmeasen (sp ?) cheese (shred the mozzerella)

Do the same with the cutting as the taco roll. Add a layer of pizza sauce, put the meat on top of that, the add the cheese. Pinch the same way you do with the taco roll and make the X and slits. Before you put in the oven, sprinkle a little garlic powder and cheese over the top and bake. The baking temp and time is the same as the taco roll.

You can always add green peppers, onions, olives, mushrooms into this if you would like.

    Hope you all enjoy this!!

    PS
I did not make this up, I got it from a Pampered Chef cookbook and plus I have made both and they are so yummy!!!

Could make some soups & chowders, I love making hearty soups & chowders in the winter with some great homemade bread or rolls, make the house feel all warm and toasty.

Hmm, no chicken or fish? Could you make enough for leftovers some nights? Or cook a big batch of chicken and freeze some for future recipes?

left overs go for lunch the next day or if alot lunch thru out the week. i have very limited freezer space and i buy meat in bulk and freeze it so that pretty much ties up my freezer space. i also use my left overs to make other foods, like i will use the left over pot roast to make the beef and noodles. hubby is not too crazy about fish, doesn't like soups or chowder either and we have had alot of chilli lately. i am having chicken popercosh just forgot to list that one. some other kind of chicken would be good too i'm just not sure what kind.
