    Yet Another Update...

Samantha came home to us yesterday. I was SO glad to see her and to be able to hold her and love on her. No more iv's and no more needles. She's doing ok, just really laboring when it comes to her breathing. Tim was up for hours with her last night...but today she slept a little bit. We try to use the bulb suction to get her to be able to breathe easier with all the congestion, but it can only get so much...she chokes a lot when she coughs too, so she's rather miserable...but she's got a really great attitude for such a small little baby. She doesn't get too fussy, just deals with it. I would give anything to have both of my little ones feeling a-ok again, but we just have to let it run it's course, as the dr. said. Tomorrow Samantha has another dr. appt, so hopefully they may be able to give us something for her to help her breathe better. Thank you everyone for praying for her and thinking about her. She's going to get better, just taking some time to get there.
Proud (and exhausted (0: ) Mommy to Anthony Jordan born March 28th, 2002, and Samantha Danyel born November 18th, 2003. I love my little ones so much...what an honor to have been blessed by God with these two angels!

You might try getting a bathroom really hot n steamy and let her play in the warm tub....that really helps break up congestion. I"m glad she's doing better!! Its such a scary thing when kids get so sick.

It is great that Samantha is home.

Am not sure if this is still viable, but when my son was young like that and having asthma bouts, the DR told me to turm on the shower, sink, etc. with hot and shut the bathroom door for about 5 minutes to let the bathroom STEAM up really good and then go in there and sit with him and pat his back to loosen up any congestion.

Im so glad to hear Samantha is back home!! Give her lots of hugs and kisses for us
Every day I live I am more convinced that the waste of life lies in the love we have not given, the powers we have not used, the selfish prudence that will risk nothing and which, shirking pain, misses happiness as well.

Placing a baby who's all congested in a steamed bathroom doesn't sound to good. The mist will set in her lungs & cause her lungs to fill up. It may cause more complications...Hey, I'm not a doctor.

I'd go by what the doctors says. I hope your daughter gets to feeling better soon.
