anybody ebay?
ok if the seller isn't responsible for the item once it leaves their house, (which most of them aren't) then the buyer shouldn't be responsible for payment once it leaves their house either, right?

Makes sense to me. But if the seller doesn't get payment, I doubt they'll send the item.

Most of the time when sellers state they are not responsible once item leaves their home they
1. normally offer insurance in case something happens to the item
OR
2. Want you to know that if you do not purchase insurance or they do not offer it, they are not responsible if you receive the item broken.
I don't think it has anything to do with not getting the item at all

When I have sold something on eBay, I do not ship it out until the money is in my hand (and if it was paid by check, nothing goes out until the check clears the bank).
I send an email to the buyer the day that everything is a go on the package going out and give them the DC# so that they can track the package themselves. That is also the day that I leave feedback for them.

ya, i know all this, but it's a very cold way to do business, and buttrfly, i've saw where sellers state that they're not responsible for it, and not offering insurance, too.
Just thoughts that drift through my head.
