no they are not soft, they are dipped in candle wax, they look like a stuffed animal but they feel hard and waxy. After a few weeks or months I forget, they start to lose their scent so you heat them with a hair dryer and use a fork to "refluff" their fur. Theya re absolutely adorable. You use any stuffed animal and they look like the regular stuffed animal only smell better and are stiff.

Thank you for everyones responses. I went and bought a bunch more bears today. I will Pm everyone that was interested. I will take pics of the bears and you can decide which bear and which fragrance you would like. Thank you again.
