Thread: Something to Think About~

I know most people at this time of year like to be giving spirits. Here's something to think about.
Keep in mind the women's shelters. This is always the busiest time of year for them-also the saddest.
I volunteer, and all the pressures really do get to people.
Anyway, please keep in mind that these women need underwear and socks BADLY. We cannot take donations of clothing of that nature, but people could stop by Walmart and pick them up when on sale. It means so much to them to have underwear. Many of them leave in the middle of the night, with only what they have on. By the time they get to go back, the moron male in there lives have either burned their clothes or ripped them up..something to where they don't have anything.
You could always call the local shelter and anonymously ask for a particualr size and "sponsor" this person too.
Just something to think about-feel free to pm me, I have a list of what these women need, somethings that we have in our homes.
Understand that I am NOT asking for any donation-just think of your local shelter.
