Wow, I never WANTED anything so I was always satisfied at xmas.
When I was older I wanted a NEW car and never got one (from my parents). I'll take one of those.

There was a rocking horse in the FAO Schwartz catalogue in 1956 or 1957 with real pony hide on it (I still remember that it cost $500) that I wanted so much it hurt. I can't see that I still want it - but I never forgot it

i always wanted my dad(carpenter had own buisness, still does) to re-do the attic and make it my bedroom. he always said he would but never did. i still want it but i guess he'd have to do it here at my house now for hubby and me.

I wanted a drum set, but Santa never did see fit to bring me one. Hmmmm! I guess tradition continues, because my 12 year old wants one, and I'm thinking "Absolutely NOT!"
If the mailman knew that my heart races when the UPS man comes by, would he still bring me freebies?

LOL I was seriously considering buying my 6 year old nephew a drum set this year. I was about to put it in the buggy when DD said.......uh huh.....what would you have done to Chuck and Staci (bro & SIL) if they had bought Jason or me a drum set???? The only thing that really sticks out in my mind that I wanted and didn't get was a View Master.....only reason it sticks out is because my little brother got it the year I asked for it. Both my kids had them, so I got over wanting one.Níl gach uile fhánaí caillte
