Am I the only one who thinks the 80's are cheesy and corny?? I started school in 71' and enjoyed the 70's series .. brought back a lot of memories .. I was a teen in the 80's and look back and just can't believe the way we dressed and all that .. thank God it is 2003 now .. lol.

And no, I don't like or listen to 80's music either .. I did at the time, but now am like, how could I have .. lol.

My hubby and I both grew up during the 80s and we want to know how many people besides us thought that Boy George was a woman?

Seriously, I think I'd seen him in videos for multiple years before I realized he wasn't a woman, lol.

Well, as a child of the 80's I have enjoyed watching this. I had such a good laugh with it last night. It amazes me some of the most corny things that were just so cool and all the rage back then...I want the whole series on DVD !! Wonder if they are gonna do a I love the 90's any time soon??? Ya know the early 90's were pretty corny too LOL!!

Oh, and about Boy George..........Holy Moly, what the heck happened to him??? I figure maybe he hit middle age and lost all his hair and now just paints it on.....very scary looking LOL. .

I wathced the original 80's program, and then watched 70's and now I am watching 80's strike back. I grew up in the 80's, graduated in 1987. Some of the fashion was funny, but in every era, we always look back and laugh. I can remember looking at pictures of my Mom in the 60's and laughing at thier hair clothes etc. ANd like every thing else in this world it always comes back. Somethings from the 70's I wish didn't come back like bell bottoms, I hope from the 80's Jellies don't come back. BUT the music I did really love. I loved all those Hair Bands, Bon Jovi, Def Lep, Poison, GNR etc. I was a big MTV addict. My Mom had to take cable out of our house because I would watch it all the time, she got rid of in 83 and reordered in 1986. THank God. REmote Control was my Fave show. I love the 80's and is Proud to be a part of it.
