    Question Wrinkled Shower Curtain..

Does anyone know how you get the wrinkles out of a plastic shower curtain?

It of course can't be ironed.

    Please help!

Steam. Hang the curtain, run the shower on HOT, close the door and let the steam build up, then go in and smooth it. HTH

Usually what I do is throw it in the dryer on low heat just for a few minutes and that should do it. It works for me, but only just for a few minutes!!! Otherwise it'd melt.

Found this, but I don't know if it is helpful or not:
    The Bathroom

~ Shower: To wash a shower curtain, fill the washing machine with warm water and two large bath towels. Add 1/2 cup each of detergent and baking soda. Then wash, adding 1 cup white vinegar to the rinse cycle. Do not spin dry or wash vinegar out. Hang immediately and wrinkles will disappear when completely dry. To prevent mildew from forming on new shower curtains, soak in salt water before hanging for the first time. A toothbrush and any spray cleaner works wonders on shower door runners.

I wash mine when it gets scummy in the washer with a touch of bleach(for mildew), Tide, and a big bath towel(it scrubs the curtain as it agitates). Then I put the wet shower curtain in the dryer for 5 minutes and IMMEDIATLY take it out and hang it back up. Its so much better than buying a new one as often as I used to.

I throw mine in the dryer all the time. I re use them too by throwing them in the washer and a few minutes in the dryer. Takes EVERY wrinkle out.

I always throw mine in the wash. Never thought of adding a towel though. Thanks for the idea!
