Help with Half.com problem
My sister is having some trouble with a seller at Half.com and since Ive never used it I thought I'd ask you guys what she should do.
She ordered a new DVD and when she got it, it was shrinkwrapped but she opened it and there was no disk. She emailed the seller 2 days ago and no response. Any advice on what she should do now? Thanks in advance.

She should check this out, but with the holiday and weekend I wouldn't be so hasty in worrying about them not responding.

What should I do if I have a problem with my item?
You can contact the seller using Half.com's Email Forwarding System to resolve this issue. Just follow these steps:
Click the My Account link near the top right of the page. You may be asked to sign in.
Click the Purchases link. Your most recent purchases will be listed on this page.
If the purchase in question is not on this page and you have the transaction number, enter it in the "View Transaction:" box and click the "Go" button.
If the purchase in question is not on this page and you do not have the transaction number, you can locate the purchase by selecting the month and year in which it took place and clicking the "Change" button.
Once you've located the purchase, click the corresponding "Details" link on the right side of the screen.
Click the "Contact Seller" button. This will take you to the "Contact a Half.com Seller" form, which you can use to send an email to the seller.
If you do not hear back from the seller or you are unable to resolve the issue, you can return to this page and click the "File Claim" button.

I bought a DVD from a seller a couple of weeks ago that claimed it was "brand new and factory sealed" but when I got it, it had the seal at the top of the case sliced through! I emailed the seller and he actually argued with me claiming I was wrong even and that it WAS the way it was supposed to be. The disc even had fingerprints on it.
I've seen shrinkwrap kits you can buy on eBay so it isn't that hard to re-wrap & re-seal a movie. I eventually argued enough with that seller that he refunded my money and I got to keep the movie anyway. BTW, who was the seller of the movie your sister bought??
A true friend knows who you are but likes you anyway.

Tell your sister you will buy CDs for her and she can buy them from you. We are getting a new CD store here that sells "pre-owned" CDs. They just opened but they say they get the latest cause someone buys what's hot, doesn't like it and takes it to them. I'm going to check them out.
