Help
I need some help i think i might have gotten pregnant. Well i dont have any thing that tells me so but. my last day of my period was aug 2 and i missed the two birth control pills sunday and monday and i had unprotected sex today but i took the pill this mornin that i missed what are the chances i am pregnant?
please help me and dont flame me.

hun i think you will be fine, usually you dont ovulate until the 14 or 15th day after your last period. i messed up taking the pill alot when i was on it and never got pregnant until i got off the pill. just make sure you keep taking them from now on.

Probably very slim. There are otc pregnancy indicators that will give you results this soon, but I'm not sure of the name of them or their accuracy. Just hang loose, remember to take your pills, do NOT have unprotected sex and wait 3 weeks to see if you start your next cycle.

SO how many days are you saying i have to be off them?

To be safe you can call your county health department and ask them about emergency contraception. Most offer it and fees are dependant on income.

Just a reminder, you can still get pregnant while on the pill. No birth control is 100% effective except abstinance--the birth control no one likes to talk about. So if you are not ready to become a mother do your future child a favor and wait to have sex until you are ready to be a mother. Your child will thank you.

There aren't any set number of days you have to be off the pill. I got pregnant with my first while taking the pill RELIGIOUSLY, and had a normal cycle the first 4 months.
Go buy a Summer's Eve if it will make you feel any better, but what's done is done. There's no sense in worrying over something that may not have happened. And unless you buy a 'first alert' type home pregnancy test, you just need to chill and wait a few weeks, probably 4 or 5. If your cycle is VERY regular, and you are several days late for your next cycle, then it should be a good indication. But stress will often upset your monthly rhythm. So don't stress. And don't have unprotected sex unless you're willing to accept the consequences. Take the pill and buy some condoms as well. Call your physician if you have any more questions. He can tell you how you need to proceed after missing 2 pills.

I agree, I'd say the chances are slim. I know when I was on the pill, I'd miss like 3 in a row and I'd be fine. I used to always forget to take them but I never got pregnant until I stopped taking them. Goodluck though, I hope everything turns out okay for you.
