What's a good workout video?
OK since becoming a Mom to two butterball babies (first was 10lbs, 11 ozs - second was 9 lbs, 10 1/2 ozs and was a week early!) and becoming a SAHM 2 years ago . . . .
My once skinny self has a belly that I would like to get rid of before it gets too late (probably already is!!)
Keep in mind I am not one to go to gyms!!! SO I am looking for a good aerobic type workout video that y'all have tried and have had good results with!
Now I do plan to do a lot of walking once my "baby" starts Kinder at the end of this month!! Will have to walk to take him to school and pick him up!! That should help!

I have bought a few of the ( i know this is spelled wrong) Pilaties tapes... Even though I haven't kept up with them etc, they do work. One of my neighbors and co-workers is a firm beliver. And it's not super srenious. But I will warn you, just after 2 work outs, I hurt like you wouldn't believe!!!

My sister loves The Firm, she swears she saw results quickly just like they claim. I like Kathy Smith's videos.

I do the taebo 8 minute workout and the pilates one. Yup after a couple of days you will feel places hurting on you that you didn't even know existed.

Bellydance workouts are fun! My friend has one of her tapes, and there's a troupe here in town that gives bellydance lessons. Great if you're looking for a chance of pace.

Any of the MTV Grind workouts are awesome. Tae Bo will kick your butt, but if you have problems with your knees as I do, Tae Bo is not for you. I got the DVD for Christmas with the Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and 8 Minute workouts, couldn't even get thru the Beginner because of the squats and stuff. But the MTV Grind tapes are my personal fave. I like the music and dance type steps, kinda makes it seem less like a workout.
Some mornings it's not worth the effort of chewing through the restraints.

TaeBo .. and it is killer on your knees, so if you have knee problems, don't do it.
I'd like to try Pilates.

I only have 3 yoga videos that I use every now and then. But our local PBS station has an excersize program on at 6 am. I have been trying to get up and do the workouts on there. Its not the same workout everyday. Sometimes its yoga sometimes its arobic. Also I get Self magazine and I keep all of the workouts in the back of the issues in a binder and do the workouts in there.

I do the Tae Bo 8 minute one too... at the end you feel pooped but that's good considering you only worked out for 8 minutes! And with that, there's really no excuse not to do it... I know alot of the other ones I have are an hour and I get so bored of them, I turn them off half way through... But I've lost some weight with it, I was a little under 160 and now I'm about 153.
