Springmaid sheets
Has anyone bought these from Wal-Mart? The ones I found were 220 thread count Egyptian blend cotton. I need new sheets to go with my new quilt and want to make sure they won't fall apart the first time I wash them before I buy any. TIA

I remember when Springmaid was probably the only brand of sheets around. If you're worried, don't wash them.

Howzabout some nice satin sheets for when Kevin comes home? I got Sarah's on eBay at Christmastime and then found them at JCP too. VERY reasonable. A full-size set for $40.

Gross! I have to wash them.
I was thinking about some satin too but haven't seen any. Now I know where to look though.

I have the springmaid sheets... I dont know all about egyptian cotton! LOL... I wasn't paying THAT much attention!!! They are purple and cheap, and I like purple and cheap!
But seriously, I have washed them so many times. They haven't faded or fallen apart or anything like that! My washer did try to eat one of the pillow cases, but it wasn't the case's fault... I guess my washer was hungry. LOL.

I have black Springmaid sheets and they have held up pretty well....got them for my 16th bday from my uncle. I think 6 years for any set of sheets is pretty darn good!
