Nasty Worm Virus called "sobig", infected my computer!!!
If you emailed me at [email protected]... you need to do a virus check on your system!!
Why on earth do people send viruses... what the hell kind of thrill can you get from that???
In the last two week someone from BBS has been hammering me with viruses... I get 3 to 4 a day. I had to abandon my email address because if I opened OE it downloaded the virus automatically, I couldn't control it. At least at my Yahoo address I can delete before opening my email.
Info on the nasty worm:

The thing is, I did turn them off in the options feature. But maybe you know something I don't. What is MT?

Post me the steps, because I'm not sure what the preview pane is.

in Outlook Express goto View > layout then in the layout screen uncheck the preview pane option. This will stop emails from being auto opened when you open OE as well as scan your emails. This is the safest option for keeping viruses from installing on your computer besides deleting emails with attachments period. If you are expecting an attachment then open it, otherwise don't. In the 10 yrs I've been online I've only had 1 virus. Why? because I use these steps plus a good antivirus program to keep them off my computer.
