how long do you wait?
How long do you wait to hear from an interviewer (you interview for a job and they say that after they interview one more person they will get back with you)? Is 2 weeks too long?

Depends on when the last person was interviewed.
Send a note (e-mail or fax) thanking your interviewer for their time and consideration for the position and that will keep you fresh in their mind.

The best thing to do is ask them at the end of the interview when you can expect to be notified of their decision.
But I do think two weeks is too long, if they were only interviewing one other person. I'd definitely call them.

I agree, you should call. It definitely pays to take the initiative and show them that you really want the job! Good luck.

Big Big Silly Person
Starting with the last person interviewed,
it can be 1 day to 2 weeks.
I do try to ask at the end of the interview,
when will they reach a decision and will
we be contacted either way. Some companies
do send a letter when you are not chosen.

go in and ask dont call.....they will know you are on top of things and are really interested in working.. we hire based on the initiative that one shows. You have to go to the job....dont let it come to you.....
