Looking for instrucation manuel for DP treadmill.Any suggestions?

My sister gave the treadmill to me but she didn't include the instructions. I know how to read the time and the distance and the speed but the cadence, the heart rate and the calories are lost to me. I have done a search on the web hoping to find an instruction guide that I could download but have had no luck. Does anyone know how I might get one? TIA

We had a DP at one time but I don't know what brand ours is now. I stay far, far away from the dreadmill! I do know that Chuckles never uses the monitors, just gets on and goes for his 45 minutes every morning. Did you try the manufacturer's website?

I can't seem to find it. I think they may be out of business. I have been using the machine and it is doing its job but would like to know some of the other info. Especially the calories burned as that seems to motivate me a little.

I think KMart still sells that brand. And maybe Sears. If you have one near you, maybe you can go into the store and talk to a sales associate. Perhaps they can give you information on the company or let you look at the instruction manual for a similar model and read how to use it.

Seriously though, if you just set your mind to walk daily for x amount of minutes, you'll be amazed at the results in a short time. Walking is the best overall exercise. I'll dig around and see if I still have any paperwork on our old one, and check the brand on our current one.

Thanks, jaybird. I'll check into Sears the next time I am at the mall. This one is probably a few years old but they may not have changed much since then. I do appreciate you checking for me.

do they have an 800 # anywhere on the machine??? (you probably already looked) but if there is you may want to try and call it.

I don't see one. I have looked the machine over top to bottom. Thanks though.
