Congratulations...it is soon for us as well.

Our new house is finished and we did the first walk through last Friday (May 9th). We spent 3 hours in the house! Other than touch-up cosmetic stuff, the house has nothing really structurally wrong. The stairway creaks...so they have to pull the carpet up and fix that...but that's about it!

Yesterday, all the window treatments were installed.

Next Monday (May 19th) we have our final walk-through and the loan will be funded that day. The title will be recorded on Tuesday and we will get the keys Tuesday night! Woohoo!!!

We have been waiting so long for this that hubby and I keep pinching ourselves because we can't believe it is finally happening.

Now...we just have to finalize which landscaper we will use for the back yard and get the plans into the "Architectural Committee" for them to approve it. (Dad-gum homeowner's associations.)

We did have good news. We bought this home during Phase I... They just released Phase III and our house is selling for almost $100,000 more than what we purchased it for. And people are paying it. How cool is that?
