This concerns the credit card you have on file for billing purposes for your eBay account xxxxxxxxx

Your credit card declined on eBay's latest attempt to charge your balance due. According to the decline information from your card issuer, this particular credit card account is no longer accepting any billing attempt. We have now removed this card from your eBay account, and will not make any further attempt to bill your balance to this credit card number.

You are still responsible for making a payment - you can use any of the alternative payment methods, using the links below. You can also use the bottom link to place a different credit card on file for billing. Please be sure to supply a credit card number that is open and active.

Please do not reply to this notice as you will not receive a response.

To make a payment now go to:
    [url]http://cgi3.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?PayCoup

Place a different credit card on file for billing purposes
    [url]https://arribada.ebay.com/saw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?PlaceCCIn

    Thank you!

Maybe it's just a mistake! I would call my credit card company first and make sure no unwanted action is showing up, before I called Ebay.

***Protect Your eBay Password and Your Personal Information***

eBay treats your personal information with the utmost care, and our Privacy Policy is designed to protect you and your information.

Some members have reported attempts to gain access to their personal information through email solicitations that are falsely made to appear as having come from eBay. These solicitations will often contain links to Web pages that will request that you sign in and submit information. At eBay, we identify these as 'spoofed' emails or Web sites.

We encourage you to be very cautious of emails that ask you to submit personal information such as your credit card number or your eBay password.

To be sure that you are signing into a genuine eBay Web site, look at the Address/Location area of your browser. At an eBay.com sign-in or log-in page, the URL (link) that appears in the Address/Location area of your browser will begin with "http://cgi.ebay.com/", "http://scgi.ebay.com/" or "http://signin.ebay.com/". Please pay close attention to all characters in the address, including the forward slash (/) that follows "ebay.com". Even if the Address/Location includes the word "ebay", it may not be a genuine eBay Web site. If you receive or suspect you have received such an email, do not respond to it or click the links. Immediately send a copy of it to [email protected].

If you have any doubt as to whether or not the website you are on is an official eBay web page, please visit our Account Security page for more complete information on the URLs used on eBay web pages.

I think these are scams....here is a link to one of the threads posted awhile back regarding this....Never use a link in an email to give out personal info...always update/give info at the direct site or call them.

    Good luck!

my bank is open until 8pm so w/ I called last night she said...there IS something pending from ebay can't gather all the info yet

BUT there is NO reason for any paymt to be denied.

she too said wait for ebay & don't touch the links in the email

this makes me very confused how scammers would know which timeframe my pay would be automatically deducted and

I just changed my email contact w/ebay so how did the scammers find that out so quick??
