My daughter lives in Ohio, she called yesterday and said they are expecting three (3) storms in a row. Almost blizzard conditions she said.

My sister lives in upstate New York (Finger Lakes Region), and she was saying 6 inches of new snow.

Wow! I'm thankful I don't have to wander around in the white stuff any more. I've been in Southern Califrornia for 38 years. You can have the snow, I'll take the rain.

It hasn't rained here for a while, but it is coming back this weekend. I am glad we have had a break from the rain. It gets old real quick!

All the schools are closed here in western New York due to white out conditions...but the sun is shining so that helps. I am so tired of the white stuff.

yep, my ceiling is leaking all over and they say it won't be fixed...
They said the buildinfg was built for "california weather" and that it's been degrading since 1968. It would cost in the upwards of 100,000 to fix and they don't ahve the money. So it's only going to worsen. What the hell are we supposed to do?!?! I can't even think about moving. I'm so pissed off right now. BF had to go up on teh roof last ngiht at 2am to see who was up there running around...it was a guy who has to drive over here every 2 hours to drain the pipes. It is like east coast weather here right now...it's really bad.

I'm sorry about your roof though, Prncs, that sucks! I'd be pissed too. I'd be up there trying to cover it with palstic or something, I mean anything has to help some. I hope you get some relief from it, pots & pans are for cooking!
