JoeAmy, I don't think they make a UTD cat food, YET.. I might be wrong, but I don't remember seeing it at the stores and I don't see it on their website. Thanks, Legion.. I wasn't aware that Friskies made a UTD cat food.. I'm sure Riley is sick of his Purina.

Good Luck at the vet! My male kitty got a UTI and then went on the Hill's Prescription Diet..pricy but worth it. However he got one again which had cleared up then he went into kidney failure. It was so horrible to lose him, I still cry sometimes and that was over a year ago. They told me male cats that were fixed were more prone to it. I hope all goes well for you and your kitty! As for the vet bills...I owe my family BIG time LOL my brother had to charge part of it for me.

females get this too, but the opening is larger (if you get my drift)
and females pass the stones easily unlike males

As of right now, the vet isn't certain that he has kidney stones but she thinks that he does. He has to go back on Friday. I have to get a urine sample from him...any suggestions on how to do that??? They also have him on antibiotics. We'll see how Friday goes.
Thanks everyone for the replies!!!

Ewww urine sample?!? That doesn't sound easy or fun. I don't really know how to go about that. Will your cat pee in an empty litter box with a liner in it? Then you could pour the urine out. That's my best idea for now. Good Luck!

My vet gave me a syringe to use.. But since Riley was peeing on the floor, I could easily get it up with syringe.
