Ideas to make $$ quick so my mom can be here for birth..

I need some really quick ideas (a couple days at MOST) to be able to get my mother here to be with me during my babys birth...any ideas?? I am open to just about anything i really need her here since my hubby is away as most of you know!

How far away is your mom? A bus ticket or taking Amtrak would be the most inexpensive means if she doesn't have a car available or if she doesn't drive. As far as making money fast? No clue, not in a day anyway. Good luck.

Well she would have to be here absolutely no later then thursday morning....she is in Michigan and im in Georgia so she was going to fly if possible and we found a ticket for $230 round trip....

Without advance booking of 7-21 days, $230 is probably the best price you're going to get for airfare. But I'd guess if you wait until the day before, it's going to go up in price. I wish I had some magic trick for you, but I sure don't. Otherwise, I'd be doing it myself.

TY jaybird....i know it is a great deal as when she was here last week (because the doctor said i would be having him last week then changed his mind) her tickets were $230 each way....so this is great...but since she paid so much then she doesnt have the money to pay now....AHHHHHHHHHHH lol!! Hmmm...do you have pawn shops there? Anything you could get a quick loan on? Or maybe a "payday loan" on your checking account? I'm just brainstorming here....

Have you tried cheap tickets . com????? I heard they are really cheap in air fair! If you have a check into cash or something, you can borrow the money and pay back in two weeks! Just a thought. Good Luck sweetie

and just pay it off a little a month, if worst comes to worst?

Would love to put it on a credit card but we dont have one to put it on...i dont think i am going to keep trying...my mom is behind in her bills now since she was here last week....I dont want her to get any further behind so maybe it would just be best for her to stay for the time being until she can afford it...it is going to kill both me and her to do it but it might be best...as she has mentioned as well...i would hate to cost her so much in the long run...i just wish we were rich or something....
